Some business income tax returns, due 3-15-19

Just a quick reminder that some business tax returns are due a month early!

Due by March 15th, each year.

If you have a...

* multi-member LLC  (1065)

* partnership  (1065)

* s corporation  (1120s)

your due date is a month early. This year, by 3-15-19

  

An exception - C corporation income tax returns are due April 15th

Single member LLC or sole proprietorships

(not electing "s" tax status) still file their income taxes

with individual form 1040 on Schedule C - due 4-15-19

Also, if you started an s corporation in 2019...

have your attorney file Form 2553 along with all the other incorporation paperwork, Form SS-4 & Oregon state registration!

* your s tax election on Form 2553 is due before 3-15-19 (don't be late)

Also, every business in Oregon must file a "personal property" report with their county assessors' office - that report needs to be postmarked by or arrive in the assessors' office by 3-15-19 (send by certified mail or deliver & get a receipt). This is not part of my firms normal income tax service, so email asap if you need help with this!
